Mentorship and Design Leadership

I help designers develop their skills and help teams design better digital products. I focus on business-to-business (B2B) software, enterprise applications, user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design, and websites.

For designers

Practical support for your next step

Mentorship tailored to your goals and current work.

  • Design craft: typography, layout, complex interfaces, and responsive design.
  • Product design decisions: understanding user problems, organizing information, and explaining design choices.
  • Figma and design systems: components, variables, documentation, and workflows teams can maintain.
  • Career development: identifying skill gaps, preparing for greater responsibility, and moving toward design leadership.

For teams

A hands-on design lead

I’m available now for part-time or full-time work, combining product design with team guidance. I work best with a small team of four to five designers.

  • Design and refine interfaces alongside your team.
  • Review work and help designers resolve difficult problems.
  • Set shared design standards, document decisions, and help the team use and maintain a design system.
  • Help plan design work, estimate effort, and balance scope with team capacity.

My contribution

At Trinetix, I worked as a UI/UX Designer, Art Director, and Design Lead from 2018 to September 2026 on enterprise products for Fortune 500 clients. I interviewed 20 designers and hired six. I personally mentored all six, and all advanced to senior designer roles. I created individual development plans and supported performance and promotion reviews. During short periods, I managed up to eight designers at a time. I built and maintained an enterprise design system, created a Figma handbook, helped define the company’s design skills framework, and led training sessions.

From teaching to mentoring

I began mentoring as a Web Design Instructor at SVC School of Visual Communication in 2016. I continued helping designers grow at Kiselev.ua and Trinetix through teaching, feedback, and learning from each other.

How we work

We start with your goals and current challenges, then agree on a focused plan. Sessions combine feedback on real work, practical exercises, and clear next steps.
